American Society of Addiction Medicine - New Mexico Chapter

Established in 1954, ASAM is a distinguished medical society that encompasses more than 7,500 physicians, clinicians, and related professionals who specialize in addiction medicine.

Bernalillo County Commission

The Bernalillo County Board of Commissioners consists of five elected members who are each limited to two, four-year terms. Each commissioner represents one of the county’s five districts. Commissioners are responsible to voters; however their duties are defined and controlled by state law.

DWI Resource Center 

The DWI Resource Center, Inc. was formed to reduce the social and economic impact of impaired driving in New Mexico through education, public awareness, prevention, and research. The Center serves as a central clearinghouse of DWI information and issues, providing community leaders with statistical information and analysis to assist them in creating localized plans to reduce DWI death and injury in New Mexico.

Health Equity Council

The Health Equity Council (HEC) is a community-based nonprofit organization located in the International District of the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, New Mexico. HEC envisions and works toward health equity and wellbeing for all.​​

NM Alliance of Health Councils

The New Mexico Alliance of Health Councils (NMAHC) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that supports and advocates for New Mexico’s 43 County and Tribal Health Councils, and their community partners.

NMBHPA is an association of more than 70 publicly funded New Mexico behavioral healthcare provider individuals and organizations who share a vision of accessible, inclusive, and effective behavioral health service and mental well being for all.

The NMTBHPA was formed out of a need to provide a voice for Tribal behavioral health providers in our state and a need to bridge communication between the State departments and Tribal providers. The U.S. Alcohol Policy Alliance is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization translating alcohol policy research into public health practice. The Alliance is committed to ensuring that local and statewide organizations engaging in alcohol policy initiatives have access to the science, resources and technical assistance, including support for organizing efforts, required to engage in informed decisions and actions in translating alcohol policy research into public health practice.

New Mexico Association of Addiction Professionals

The Mission of NMAAP shall be to advocate on behalf of the addiction workforce in New Mexico, regionally and nationally while providing training and networking opportunities to its members.

The Caucus works to bring more veterans with aligned values into the DPNM and to ensure the DPNM carries out its responsibility to support issues specific to veterans and their families.

New Mexico Society of Addiction Medicine

NMSAM  is a chapter of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, ASAM is a professional society representing over 4,000 physicians and associated professionals dedicated to increasing access and improving the quality of addiction treatment; educating physicians, other medical professionals and the public; supporting research and prevention; and promoting the appropriate role of physicians in the care of patients with addictions.
